PART X, LINE 2:

“The association is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(5) of the internal revenue code and has been classified as other than a private foundation by the internal revenue service. Income from advertising is not directly related to the association's tax-exempt purpose and is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. The assocation's policy is to evaluate uncertain tax positions annually. Management evaluated the association's tax positions and concluded that the association had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustment to the financial statements. Forms 990 and 990t filed by the association are subject to examination by the internal revenue service (irs) up to three years from the extended due date of each return. Forms 990 and 990t filed by the association are no longer subject to examination for the fiscal years ended june 30, 2010 and prior.”
