THE STAFF CONTINUE TO PRESENT TO ALL POTENTIAL REFERRAL SOURCES IN THE COMMUNITY. ART THERAPY CONTINUES TO BE PROVIDED BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND IN GROUPS. THE RESPONSE HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE. NINETY-SEVEN PERCENT OF ALL RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN LINKED TO MAINSTREAM BENEFITS THEY ARE ENTITLED TO. SEVEN CHALLENGES PROGRAM ADDRESSING CO-OCCURING DISORDERS HAS BEEN FULLY IMPLEMENTED INTO ALL THREE PROGRAMS. ALL THE RESIDENTS IN EACH PROGRAM ARE PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY SERVICE MONTHLY. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OF ALL RESIDENTS HAVE COMPLETED THE ANSELL CASEY ASSESSMENT FOLLOWING ADMISSION. ALL RESIDENTS IN THE PROGRAMS HAVE HAD THEIR EDUCATIONAL NEEDS MET THROUGH THE MCKINNEY VENTO ACT. NAPERVILLE OPERATION SNOWBALL FOCUSES ON YOUTH LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TO EMPOWER HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH. IN FY2018, 429 YOUTH ATTENDED INTENSIVE WEEKEND PROGRAMS. POWER OF CHOICE COMMUNICATION CAMPAIGN IS A DATA-DRIVEN DRUG & ALCOHOL PREVENTION PROJECT WHICH HELPS YOUTH RECOGNIZE THEIR OWN STRENGTH TO MAKE HEALTHY DECISIONS. IN FY2018, THE HIGH SCHOOL CAMPAIGN REACHED 14,665 STUDENTS, PLUS PARENTS IN 13,124 HOUSEHOLDS, AND THE 6TH-8TH GRADE CAMPAIGN REACHED 10,418 STUDENTS, PLUS PARENTS IN 9,101 HOUSEHOLDS. COMMUNITY ALLIANCE FOR PREVENTION IS A 39-MEMBER COLLABORATIVE TO REDUCE USE OF MARIJUANA, ALCOHOL AND PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FOR NONMEDICAL REASONS BY YOUTH IN NAPERVILLE AND FAR EAST AURORA. THERAPISTS ARE TRAINED TO TREAT ISSUES SUCH AS DEPRESSION, GRIEF, FAMILY CONFLICT AND RELATIONSHIP CONCERNS. 360 YOUTH SERVICES IS ALSO CONTRACTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY-BASED YOUTH SERVICES (CCBYS) TO NAPERVILLE, LISLE, DOWNERS GROVE, WOODRIDGE, AURORA AND WESTMONT 24 HOURS A DAY, 365 DAYS A YEAR. THE PROGRAM IS GEARED TOWARD YOUTH AGED 11-17 THAT ARE LOCKED OUT OF THEIR HOMES, HAVE RUN AWAY OR ARE BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THEIR PARENTS. THE MAIN GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS REUNIFICATION.
