“On February 22, 2025, the organization's bylaws and articles of incorporation were amended to incorporate more current legal language and to clarify the role of the St. Leonard's Ministries Board of Directors with its sole member: the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. These include the governing rights of the day-to-day management of the organization, including the employment of the Executive Director, board member selection, and regular business activity. Several ex-officio members from the Diocese were removed. The bylaws affirmed the organization's faith tradition. The Diocese retained rights to approve the sale of any significant assets or to dissolve the organization. On April 29, 2025, these amendments were formally approved by Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. The articles of incorporation were filed with the Illinois Secretary of State.”
