Daniel Wine has a brother that is faculty (prior to being appointed to board).Rev. Jack McCormick and Mr. Scott Sherwood have received stipends for teaching or speaking.Mrs. Cyndi McDonald's son works in Admissions.Several members have relatives that have received scholarships given in the normal course of process, not because of their status as board members.Dr. Mark Hostetler has a laptop that he uses in his role as Secretary to the Board.Rev. The HR Director provides data annually for the President and for the Vice Presidents. The Data is salary analysis using 2-3 different surveys.The HR Director provides data to the Executive Committee for the Board of Trustees every five years when the President receives a contract. Once the salary is determined, the President receives the same annual percentage increase as a staff member. This was last done in 2015.

The Vice President's salaries are evaluated each year with the Director of HR and the President. The HR Director reviews salaries provided by CUPA survey as well as CCCU survey and evaluates the role of the VP and makes a determination of the appropriate salary based on the scope of their responsibilities and their experience in their role.
