Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

The temple is exempt from income tax under section 501(c)(10) of the internal revenue code and a similar provision of state law. The fort wayne shrine realty company is exempt from income tax under section 501(c)(2) of the internal revenue code and a similar provision of state law. However, under certain internal revenue code regulations, profitable, unrelated business income is subject to federal and state income tax. Such income arises from rental agreements and timber sales. The temple's income tax filings are subject to audit by various taxing authorities. The temple is no longer subject to income tax examinations by taxing authorities for tax years ending on or before december 31, 2009. The temple's management has determined that there are no events that would more likely than not cause the above tax position to change within the next twelve months.
