Mission

To provide services to victims of human trafficking and education/awareness to the community concerning human trafficking.

Program Services

Residential emergency housing through Restoration61's safe house and or hotels for victims of human trafficking, including but not limited to, transportation and travel to residential programs and safe houses and safe families. 128 women received housing services through Restoration61, providing 935 safety of sleep from victims of sex trafficking. Participants in the residential program receive food, clothing, case management, access to education, job training, counseling, therapy, medical services, etc.$0$79,434
Awareness/education events: information provided to community groups, service providers, churches, and businesses concerning human trafficking. Events focus on bringing awareness to the issue of human trafficking and activating individuals to get involved in their local organizations to make a difference. Restoration61 conducted 22 events impacting more than 8200 people.$0$31,531
Outreach program he provides: crisis intervention, case management, safety training, and referrals to appropriate services and or providers. Partnering with law-enforcement and other service providers (shelters hospitals rehab, etc.) where a victim discloses her human trafficking. Food: victims were provided food when recovered through crisis intervention and when meeting with advocates. 739 victims of sex trafficking served, $6609. Transportation: victims were giving passes for public transportation to get the services if they are living in the community, some living in residential programs were provided passes to get two classes support groups, jobs, training programs, school; Uber and Lyft were utilized to transport clients from unsafe situation to meet with Victim Advocate: in cases where public transportation or Uber/lyft are not available advocates transported victims. 328 victims were transported. $6,048 Administrative Cost for website, accounting program, and banking fees totaling $1158.

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0The initial tax document was filed late in December of 2020, with COVID-19, our staff was laid off and offices temporarily closed and the the 990 did not get filed and was forgotten about until December. Then a letter was received from the IRS stating it had not received the tax document and could the address be different than the prior year. Then answer was, "YES" and the original was resubmitted. Recently we have conducted an audit and reviewed the 2019 990EZ and found a typo. On line 1 and 9 and extra three was typed. All other information was was correct. We are submitting the corrected version with this submission. You should have the previous copies on file within your organization. If you have any questions please contact me.
