“Form 990, part iii, line 4d - all other accomplishments three largest programs for 2024: 1. Disaster relief for tornado in poplar bluff, mo and surrounding communities provided showers, lanudry services and meals for approximately a week until other agencies could come in. For hurricane helene in the tennessee & north carolia areas: profided showers, laudry services and meals for 6 weeks, also distributed 2 semi loads of non-perishable food, clothing and other supplies. Estimated cost of the 2 semi loads and meals for this diaster is approximately 75,000. 2. Hope for kidz (feeding children) - packaged over 140,000 meals for distribution. 3. Other relief progams for the homelss, needy, victims of house fires, etc. Distributed over 53,512.10 in clothing, furniture, hygiene items, household items and food boxes. As in the past, we have continued our thrift stores where donated clothing,furniture and household goods are sorted, priced and sold at low prices allowing people to get more on limited budgets. For those who lack the financial means to provide for themselves and their families, we issue vouchers and/or furniture requests that are used to aquire clothing, furniture and other necessities through our thrift stores.”
