The president and other officers are paid by Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Media, Inc. (MIPM), a related organization. The following are the processes MIPM uses to establish compensation for these individuals: President - Each year the compensation committee of the board uses salary survey data to determine the compensation of the President. The deliberations and decision of the compensation committee are contemporaneously documented in committe minutes. This process is done annually. A member of the finance committee is liaison to the Personnel Committee to coordinate current budget deliberations with recommendations. CFO - The president determines the compensation of the CFO. The decision is documented in the employee's file.”

“The organization retains the expertise of an independent tax advisor to assist in the preparation and review of its irs form 990. Prior to filing the form 990, the organization's management and audit committee reviews the form 990 at the audit committee meeting. The board will be provided a complete copy of the form 990 prior to filing.”
