Activity 2

Short-term delegations and cultural exchange-interlink facilitates delegations and internships that allow americans to serve people in an area of russia and the newly independent states. The volunteers assist and supplement the staff who are serving in the region. During 2012, 28 individuals in three delegations helped interlink provide services in the region. Participants in the delegations provided support in activities such as: maintenance in orphanages that the organization supports, working with children in supported orphanages, maintenance of interlink facilities, assisting with an english camp for children, and assisting with humanitarian aid distribution. Intern delegates support interlink's current operations by assisting the staff with youth programs, humanitarian aid, english training initiatives, and other organization needs. Interlink also hosted two kazakh individuals in the united states for cross-cultural exchange.

Activity 3

Humanitarian aid-interlink provides aid, in areas of russia and the newly independent states, for humanitarian needs. Support is provided in many forms including school supplies, food, clothing, transportation, medical assistance, and education assistance.
