The ceo has an annual review by the organization's incoming board chairman and the outgoing board chairman. Annual goals of the association are reviewed at that time to decide the course of action to be taken and salary is reviewed. The data from ymca of the usa by geographic area provides insight to all directors' positions. Association size and length of service along with geographic location is essential. This info is requested for comparison every 2nd or 3rd year as changes are not that significant. The organization had a salary audit from the ymca of the usa in 2019 and 2024. This was also used for comparison.

The Organization is organized as a not-for-profit corporation and, accordingly, is exempt from Federal and state income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and similar state provisions. The Organization has evaluated the tax positions it has taken, or expects to take, in the course of preparing the Organization's tax returns to determine whether the tax positions are more likely than not of being sustained by the applicable taxing authority. Accounting standards requires the benefit arising from an uncertain tax position to be recognized in the financial statements only when it is more likely than not the position will be sustained upon examination, including resolution of any related appeals or litigation processes, based upon the technical merits and consideration of all available information. Once the recognition threshold is met, the portion of the tax benefit that is recorded represents the largest amount of tax benefit that is greater than 50 percent likely to be realized upon settlement with a taxing authority. Based on its review, management does not believe the Organization has taken any significant uncertain tax positions, including any position that would place the Organization's exempt status in jeopardy as of December 31, 2024 and 2023. The Organization is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. The Organization believes it is no longer subject to tax examinations for years prior to 2021.

Children were engaged in an environment that supported growth and exploration through a summer camp experience this year at our YMCA Learning Center. Our YMCA Learning Center provided financial assistance to families who otherwise would have faced economic barriers to participate in our early learning programs.
