Our empowerment initiative represents a journey from "life on life" connections to full commitment to jesus through: -training thousands of christ-followers throughout 72 countries (321k of the goal of 500k by 2025) -developing a network of locally-based safe house to address vulnerability and safety issues for muslim women and their families as they come to faith in christ -training hundreds to become digital missionaries through our embassy, connecting with muslims online, developing true friendships; -helping local churches in the u.s. Effectively open their doors to refugees and other immigrants in their communities through biblically-based english as a second language (esl) -organizing clusters of christian leaders on six continents to mobilize hundreds of local churches to reach muslim-background believers within the next five years -launching a virtual internship for peer-to-peer evangelism among generations y & z, especially recruiting muslim background believers (mbb). -mobilizing christian leaders to personally connect with every imam throughout the united states, and many imams in other countries. -working to have 50% of our staff comprised of muslim-background believers within the next five years -developing unique discipleship tools for new muslim believers, who face unique spiritual growth challenges

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 3

As covid-19 shut down our world, we pivoted to scrap all our plans and "in person" events and began to create something fresh and virtual. We had no idea if this would work, but we felt compelled to use every means possible to get the "hope" out to muslims and to equip and encourgae pastors, their chruches, and the motivated lay men and women. We developed a unique virtual platform - allowing attendees to feel like they were actually "in" a conference, having a high level of production with world class teaching and the ability to speak face to face with our staff and our sponsors. In june 2020, we were praying god would trust us with 150-200 for sahara challenge. God heard our prayers but had a "larger" plan, as he brought in more than 650 serious minded learners to engage this three-day, intensive course this was the most individuals ever attending any of our events in 27 years then in september 2020, we launched our virtual hope conference. -2,499 attended our "americas" event -1,001 attend our "europe, asia, africa" event -3,500 attendees in all -63 countries were represented these larger events, along with four webinars we launched in 2020, each seeing 400 to 600 peersons, serves to expand the reach of our empowerment initiative. It all begins with "one life impacting one life"

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

The ministry is an inter-denominational christian mission agency with an international reach whose purpose it is to mobilize the church, christian leaders, and resource other missions organizations with the same focus. While addressing fears, stereotypes and knowledge gaps, the ministry provides practical strategies equipping christian leaders and entire congregations domestically and internationally to effectively connect with muslims in their sphere of influence: neighbors, colleagues, and classmates. Through the ministry's empowerment initiative, local outreach tools are provided which address the critical needs of muslims refugees and the vulnerability of muslims coming to faith who need immediate relocation, shelter, and new start. This initiative also focuses on creating safe places for muslims, wrestling with life-changing questions and more, to engage with trained christians. Through major training events, seminars, leadership development, and targeted resources, crescent project has grown to now have influence and work in 72 countries.
