Mission

The mission of ORCA House, INC is to provide hope, caring, and recovery services to men, women, and families suffering alcohol and drug addiction in the greater Cleveland neighborhoods.

Major Activities

Activity 2
The women's residential programs consist of 12 primary treatment beds for adult females seeking assistance and willing to work toward building sober, productive lifestyles. The daily program curriculum consists of the same therapeutic components as the men's program with the exception of gender specific topics. This program also makes it mandatory for children (over the age of 14) of clients to participate in the evening family education groups, which are provided one day per week.
Activity 3
The intensive outpatient program ("iop") is designed to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to clients with stable living environments or those determined not to be in need of structured inpatient treatment. This program component provides individual and group counseling, assessment, crisis intervention, and urinalysis in three hour sessions, four days a week, for five consecutive weeks. In addition, case management services are available on a scheduled basis. The maximum number of participants in the iop component is based upon a 12:1 client-to-staff ratio.
