There have been no changes from prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART V, LINE 4:

The endowment funds are used to generate income to support student programming.

PART X, LINE 2:

Schedule d, part x, line 2: the organization is a not-for-profit corporation as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is exempt from federal income taxes, and is not a private organization under section 509(a)(2). In addition, the organization qualifies for charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a). The organization is no longer subject to tax examinations for years before 2011 by taxing authorities in jurisdictions where the organization has filed returns. The organization did not identify any material unrecognized tax benefits upon evaluation of tax positions taken and therefore, there was no material effect on the financial condition or results of operations. The organization evaluates at each balance sheet date uncertain tax positions taken, if any, to determine the need to record liabilities for taxes, penalties, and interest. The policy is to record interest and penalties on uncertain tax provisions as income tax expense. As of june 30, 2014 and 2013, the organization had no accrued taxes, interest or penalties related to uncertain tax positions. The organization estimates the unrecognized tax benefit will not change significantly within the next twelve months.
