WE ALSO SUPPLY MEDICAL CENTERS WITH REFRIGERATION FOR THE SAFE STORAGE OF MEDICINES AND VACCINATIONS. THE SOLAR-POWERED WATER PUMPS INSTALLED IN THE VILLAGES ALLOW FOR THE PRODUCTION OF ENERGY TO PUMP SAFE, CLEAN WATER FROM DEEP BELOW THE GROUND IN THE AQUIFERS, AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE YEAR-ROUND. EACH WATER PUMP PROVIDES RURAL COMMUNITIES WITH OVER 30,000 LITERS OF CLEAN WATER PER DAY. THE IMPACT OF CLEAN WATER AND POWER INCLUDES IMPROVED COMMUNITY HEALTH; BETTER EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AND ENTREPRENEURIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN WHO NO LONGER NEED TO SPEND THEIR DAYS TREKKING FAR TO FETCH WATER. OVERALL, COMMUNITIES ARE ABLE TO FLOURISH WITH THE ADDITION OF CLEAN WATER AND ELECTRICITY. INNOVATION: AFRICA ALSO BRINGS A UNIQUELY ISRAELI AGRICULTURAL INNOVATION, DRIP IRRIGATION, WHICH ENABLES THE GROWTH OF MORE FOOD WITH LESS WATER, EXTENDS THE GROWING SEASON, PREVENTS HUNGER AND CREATES REVENUE-GENERATING OPPORTUNITIES. WE BELIEVE THE CORE OF EACH PROJECT IS TO CREATE LONG-LASTING AND SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS, AND OUR ENGINEERS DEVELOPED A REMOTE MONITORING TECHNOLOGY TO DETECT SYSTEM FAILURES AND TRAIN LOCAL RESIDENTS TO REPAIR EQUIPMENT SO THAT VILLAGES ARE NEVER LEFT IN THE DARK OR WITHOUT WATER. THE KEY ACTIVITIES INCLUDED:- ENGAGING CONTENT AND MEDIA: WE PRODUCED SEVERAL VIDEOS, VISUALS, AND TESTIMONIALS TO SHOWCASE HOW OUR PROJECTS TRANSFORM LIVES. THIS CONTENT WAS SHARED ACROSS VARIOUS ONLINE MEDIA CHANNELS, SENT DIRECTLY TO PAST DONORS, AND DISTRIBUTED VIA MASS EMAIL TO POTENTIAL DONORS. ALL COMPLETED PROJECTS AND LIVE MONITORING SYSTEMS ARE AVAILABLE TRANSPARENTLY ON OUR WEBSITE, INNOAFRICA.ORG.- PERSONALIZED DONOR OUTREACH: WE CONTINUED TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH OUR DONORS THROUGH PERSONALIZED COMMUNICATION. DONORS RECEIVED REGULAR UPDATES ON THE IMPACT OF THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS, WITH TESTIMONIES AND ACCESS TO LIVE MONITORING SYSTEMS OF THEIR FUNDED PROJECTS. WE ALSO REACHED OUT TO NEW AND POTENTIAL DONORS THROUGH MEETINGS, CALLS, EMAILS, REPORTS, AND NEWSLETTERS, ENSURING DONOR TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY.- PARLOR MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND ONLINE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS: WE HOSTED VARIOUS PARLOR MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND ONLINE CAMPAIGNS TO RAISE FUNDS AND BUILD A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AMONG SUPPORTERS. PRESENTING AT CONFERENCES FURTHER ENHANCED OUR CREDIBILITY. AS A RESULT, WE SECURED OVER 6,400 DONATIONS FROM 2019 TO 2024 THROUGH OUR ONLINE CHANNELS. WE ALSO UPDATED OUR USER-FRIENDLY WEBSITE, FEATURING SECURE DONATION GATEWAYS AND LEVERAGING SOCIAL MEDIA AND EMAIL MARKETING TO REACH A BROAD AUDIENCE. OUR WORK WAS SHOWCASED AT FUNDRAISING MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES IN SOUTH AFRICA, THE US, AND ISRAEL.- CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS: WE PURSUED PARTNERSHIPS WITH CORPORATIONS ALIGNED WITH OUR MISSION. IN RETURN FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT, WE PROVIDED BRAND VISIBILITY, EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES, AND SHARED CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY GOALS. MANY CORPORATIONS BASED IN SOUTH AFRICA VISITED THEIR FUNDED PROJECTS, CELEBRATING THE SUCCESS WITH THEIR EMPLOYEES IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES.- AWARDS: INNOVATION: AFRICA RECEIVED SEVERAL AWARDS AND HONORS IN 2024, WHICH STRENGTHENED OUR CREDIBILITY AND ATTRACTED NEW DONORS.- RECRUITING TWO NEW TEAM MEMBERS TO OUR FUNDRAISING DEPARTMENTIN PARTICULAR IN 2024, WE ENGAGED A DIVERSE RANGE OF DONORS, INCLUDING INDIVIDUALS, FOUNDATIONS, AND CORPORATIONS. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WE APPLIED FOR 2 GRANTS FROM MULTILATERAL ORGANIZATIONS, FOUNDATIONS, AND CORPORATIONS, SOME OF WHICH WERE SUCCESSFUL. THE GRANT AMOUNTS RANGED FROM $10,000 TO $100,000.WE ALSO HELD AROUND 80 MEETINGS WITH BOTH EXISTING AND POTENTIAL DONORS, AIMED AT SECURING FUNDING FOR NEW PROJECTS AND UNRESTRICTED FUNDING. THESE MEETINGS WERE ALSO USED TO PLAN A TOTAL OF 23 DONOR TRIPS, DURING WHICH BOTH NEW AND LONGSTANDING DONORS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT PROJECT SITES AND EXPLORE NEW PROJECTS THAT WERE IN DIRE NEED OF SUPPORT. |
