Rabbi friedlander and jeff met at crossbridge community church in birmingham and averaged approximately 50 or more attendees each week. Monte's duties included the following: helping set up before each service, helping operate audio and video as needed, leading a prayer group, overseeing some of the hospitality ministries such as greeters and ushers as well as helping with tear down. -monte martin provided the main teaching at "real time torah" approximately once a month and helped conduct any aspect of the service as requested by rabbi friedlander. -led home shabbat meal and bible study groups every friday night in his home or in the home of a member. Monte martin wrote bible lessons many weeks that would be shared online and used by other shabbat groups. -led the be one ministies intercessory prayer team. Monte wrote a devotional each week for the prayer team and sent it via email along with reports on prayer needs and answered prayers. There were approximately 10 people on the team. -helped plan, set up, and conduct many special gatherings hosted by be one ministries throughout the year in various churches or venues, which included special biblical feast services, community shabbat dinners, concerts, etc. These events were atteneded by 100-300 people. -helped provide care services for one of the elderly members on an almost weekly basis as well as doing occasional visitation or help ministries to other members. -monte said he gave on average approximately 20 hours a week to be one ministries.”
