“Program service accomplishments: legacy charities, inc, aka new day charities 990 report for 2024 new day china 1.savannah project - 20 children in-orphanage projects each of our in-orphanage projects are an oasis. A green place located in a dry area. An oasis of hope underground streams - aquifers, feed every oasis. The role of many of us has changed from providing a home to providing an aquifer - an underground stream whose influence is barely seen, but it is very powerful. From the sponsors to the local team and specialists who support and the local community who encourage - they are all links in the underground stream that is making life spring up in the desert. We need to keep these streams strong, clean, fresh, open, and flowing strongly. There has been a lot of pressure, but the pressure of an underground stream contributes to its purity. The vision of new day china is to transform the lives of orphans with special needs. Our strategy to accomplishing that involves three key roles: "care-givers are the people interacting with the children all the time and their impact on the children's lives is the greatest. We believe that, more than any other person in the child's life, the nanny who cares for the child can make the biggest impact. For that reason, we focus on using long-term hands-on training to develop nannies who are excellent at taking care of children with long-term needs. "experts in the areas of medicine, therapy, nursing, and special education are able to give information and techniques to nannies that are specific to the kinds of children they care for. New day china depends on a strong team of experts. "coaches are a vital part of the new day china team and strategy. These coaches are specifically trained not only in how to care for children with special needs, but in how to coach caregivers on an ongoing basis. These coaches provide a key link between the knowledge of the experts and the caregivers, because the coaches help the caregivers consistently and accurately implement the guidance and training provided by the experts in each subject area. 2.foster families - 14 children foster families in 2024 continued. Due to policy changes in china, children in our foster care had to return to their respective orphanages. Therefore, as children were adopted, we did not place new children into families but gradually reduced the number of children in foster families, until all the remaining children were returned to their orphanages as the requirement of the central chinese government. We have been given permission to be one of 18 orphanages nationwide allowed to place children in foster families. With no experience and limited resources, they asked for our help. They asked for help in 4 ways. "they have never had foster families so are asking for help in setting up the program. "they have 94 children who are eligible to be placed in a foster family but do not have enough funds to place each child. "they need help with the salaries of the staff that will run this project. "provide training for foster families. A. Child training b. Early childhood development c. Marriage classes d. Financial classes e. Health & hygiene classes 3.pku project - 3 children phenylketonuria (pku) is an inborn error of metabolism that results in decreased metabolism of the amino acid phenylalanine. Untreated, pku can lead to intellectual disability, seizures, behavioral problems, and mental disorders. Vision to provide the children diagnosed with pku an opportunity to reach their full potential. Living a happy and fulfilled life. Strategy "we provide all the formula and special rice and flour needed for their special diets. "we train their staff on the special diet that is needed. "we facilitate weekly blood tests being sent to a specialist in beijing to measure the levels of phenylalanine in the children's blood. Then according to the results, the children's diets can be adjusted. 4.little deer project - 12 children training "special nee”

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: LEGACY CHARITIES, INC, AKA NEW DAY CHARITIES 990 REPORT FOR 2024 NEW DAY CHINA 1.SAVANNAH PROJECT - 20 CHILDREN IN-ORPHANAGE PROJECTS EACH OF OUR IN-ORPHANAGE PROJECTS ARE AN OASIS. 4.LITTLE DEER PROJECT - 12 CHILDREN TRAINING "SPECIAL NEE |
