Mission

The apwa foundation is driven by its organizational mission statement, to provide resources for the advancement of public works professionals and the public works industry. The apwa foundation was created to serve as a philanthropic arm to raise financial funding to support the mission of the american public works association, a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in kansas city, missouri (apwa). The foundation's programs are facilitated and delivered through the apwa. The foundation has four designated direct giving avenues and a general fund to provide donors the ability to direct their donation to a specific public works program or activity. The foundation can accept individual and corporate donations for any of the directed giving opportunities.
