Stella Hourd-Benamaisia is acting secretary and sister to the Executive Director Maggie Hourd-Bryant

Part VI, Line 12C

Board members and staff were required to sign a conflict of interest form at minimum two times per year. Board members were asked disclose any interests which which might result in a conflict of interest with each grant application submission. In addition we hold a training each year on potential conflicts of interests. This is especially important as we expand our funding base. During the training we review our policies related to conflict of interests and confidentiality. Have a policy A conflict of interest policy can include a statement about the duty to disclose conflicts a process for reviewing them and consequences for non-compliance. Consequences can include disciplinary action removal from a position of authority or termination depending on the severity of the conflict. Our policy requires board members to abstain from voting on matters involving a conflict and for a majority of disinterested decision-makers to approve the action.

Part VI, Line 15

The board hired an independent consultant to review salaries and make recommendations based on local compensation for like positions. The report was compiled for salaries related to the Executive Director the Housing Director and all support staff and was presented to the board of directors for review and adoption.

Our governing documents conflict of interest policy and financial statements are made available to the general public upon request. Our quarterly and annual financial statements are published in the annual report to the community and made available online.
