“By majority vote of the members at the December 15, 2021 regular membership meeting, a change to eligibility of members was adopted. As amended, Article SIXTH of the MCVC Articles of Incorporation now states: Any member of a legally registered organization or other entity within Maine's Mid-Coast Region and desiring to promote and/or support the purposes of the Council shall be eligible for membership. The Officers of the Council are voting members and are elected biennially by the Council Directors. The Directors shall be the current Commander or President of each participating organization or entity, and are voting members of the Council. The Officers and Directors of the Council shall periodically review existing classes of membership and privileges of membership and will approve or make any changes to said classes and privileges.”
