“The mission of the rock 'n roll & blues heritage museum is to educate the general public about the rich history and evolution of the unique music art form known as rock 'n roll, from its roots in the original american music of blues, country and gospel to its diversification from rock 'n roll to rockabilly, rock, hard rock, psychedelic rock, funk, punk, soul and heavy metal as well as to preserve the music's memorabilia spanning several decades, from the 1920's through the 1970's. Our mission is to not only to show the influence of rock 'n roll music, from its roots to its derivatives, on american pop culture but also its impact on the popular music and culture around the world.”
