Mission

EPIC shall promote the social health of the community by involving citizens in its activities and shall reach out to all segments of the community including traditionally under-represented groups. EPIC will promote the economic health of the community by fostering employment and business opportunities that meet the needs of the community. EPIC will act in the best interests of its community and represent those interests to other organizations and public bodies. This includes recommending action to governmental bodies and responding to proposals for residential and commercial development or livability in the East Phillips Area. EPIC will work to create a safe community that contains open communication between neighbors: to stabilize and promote the integrated character of the neighborhood, to improve the quality of housing, schooling, employment, recreation, day care, transportation facilities, environment and other neighborhood services, To encourage economic development for the reside
