Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Raincatchers mission is to design, install, and maintain rainwater collection systems in Haiti. We organize short term trips to deliver, install and maintain the systems, recruiting volunteers from churches, high schools, and colleges. Our goal is to a) address the deplorable yet preventable health conditions that results from Haiti's critical shortage of safe water, while b) providing a youth leadership training experience in an environment requiring the ability to improvise and adapt.

We organize short term trips to deliver, install and maintain the systems, recruiting volunteers from churches, high schools, and colleges. Our goal is to a) address the deplorable yet preventable health conditions that results from Haiti's critical shortage of safe water, while b) providing a youth leadership training experience in an environment requiring the ability to improvise and adapt.
