Pt VI, Line 6

The association has 3,600 voting members statewide represented by eight regional districts.

Pt VI, Line 7A

All regular members elect their own regional officers (president, vice president, sec/treas) who in turn elect the general board of directors of the association.

Pt VI, Line 7B

The general board of directors makes all major operational decisions and also has an executive committee consisting of five selected directors who handle the daily routine matters. Any changes to the bylaws or governing documents must be approved by the general membership.

Pt VI, Line 11B

The form 990 is provided to the executive director for signature and reviewed with the tax preparer prior to filing. Copies are made available to the board of directors after filing.

The executive committee of the board routinely reviews contracts and arrangements and monitors operations for potential conflicts of interest and action is taken immediately to prevent same, if necessary.
