Management duties are performed by philadelphia presbytery homes, inc., who provide marketing, compliance guidance, human resource, operations leadership, and financial duties for the organization. Management fee is budgeted and approved by the u.s. Department of housing and urban development during their budget review process, and confirmed to be in line with budget during the course of the year end audit.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The corporation is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and state income taxes under the provisions of the pennsylvania nonprofit corporation law. The corporation adheres to the provisions of the financial accounting standards board codification 740, income taxes. Asc 740 prescribes a comprehensive model for financial statement recognition, measurement, classification and disclosure of uncertain tax positions. The corporation has concluded that it does not have any uncertain tax positions that require recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. Management believes it is no longer subject to income tax examinations for years prior to fiscal year 2014. The corporation is also exempt from philadelphia real estate taxes.
