“The mission of iowa lakes rc&d is to address the natural and human resources to advance economic and social betterment of northwest iowa. The rc&d program will help local people obtain and coordinate technical and financial assistance as needed from a variety of private, public, and governmental sources.rc&d assists communities and individuals in an eight county area of northwest iowa. The iowa lakes rc&d council provides a way for local people to plan and implement projects that will make their communities better places to live. They are part of the iowa league of rc&ds,which represents all of the iowa rc&d councils.”
