Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

Meal program- the alpha community center continues to serve meals monday through friday, breakfast and lunch. Due to the disruption of the pandemic, all meals have been served in a to go fashion daily. Monday through friday during our summer feeding program for kids, children 0-18 received free meals. In 2020 we served about 10172 meals from the alpha center, in partnership with holy angels soup kitchen serving about 12,000. Emergency pantry- this provides our clients with non-perishable food items, diapers and wipes, hats, gloves, blankets, personal care items, underwear and socks, school supplies and anything additional that may be donated. In 2020, 501 families were served through our pantry. Children's programming- 15 children participated in the summer feeding program. Due to pandemic shutdown, we provided no additional summer programming for kids. The programs for kids involve games, projects, field trips, swimming, educational presentations, video games, computers and tablets, snacks and meals. Future plans include the opening of this program. We were able to send 5 kids to camp union in the summer of 2020. In 2020 we were blessed with over 200 volunteers that gave 6172 hours to the alpha community center. In 2020, even with pandemic conditions, we utilized our volunteers to keep the meals available to those in need.

DUE TO THE DISRUPTION OF THE PANDEMIC, ALL MEALS HAVE BEEN SERVED IN A TO GO FASHION DAILY. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY DURING OUR SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM FOR KIDS, CHILDREN 0-18 RECEIVED FREE MEALS. IN 2020 WE SERVED ABOUT 10172 MEALS FROM THE ALPHA CENTER, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HOLY ANGELS SOUP KITCHEN SERVING ABOUT 12,000. EMERGENCY PANTRY- THIS PROVIDES OUR CLIENTS WITH NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, DIAPERS AND WIPES, HATS, GLOVES, BLANKETS, PERSONAL CARE ITEMS, UNDERWEAR AND SOCKS, SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND ANYTHING ADDITIONAL THAT MAY BE DONATED. IN 2020, 501 FAMILIES WERE SERVED THROUGH OUR PANTRY. CHILDREN'S PROGRAMMING- 15 CHILDREN PARTICIPATED IN THE SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM. DUE TO PANDEMIC SHUTDOWN, WE PROVIDED NO ADDITIONAL SUMMER PROGRAMMING FOR KIDS. THE PROGRAMS FOR KIDS INVOLVE GAMES, PROJECTS, FIELD TRIPS, SWIMMING, EDUCATIONAL PRESENTATIONS, VIDEO GAMES, COMPUTERS AND TABLETS, SNACKS AND MEALS. FUTURE PLANS INCLUDE THE OPENING OF THIS PROGRAM. WE WERE ABLE TO SEND 5 KIDS TO CAMP UNION IN THE SUMMER OF 2020. IN 2020 WE WERE BLESSED WITH OVER 200 VOLUNTEERS THAT GAVE 6172 HOURS TO THE ALPHA COMMUNITY CENTER. IN 2020, EVEN WITH PANDEMIC CONDITIONS, WE UTILIZED OUR VOLUNTEERS TO KEEP THE MEALS AVAILABLE TO THOSE IN NEED.
