Mission

Maple city square, inc. Is a not-for-profit corporation formed in accordance with the not-for-profit statutes of the state of indiana. The corporation was formed for the purpose of operating a 30 unit community known as maple city square located in la porte, indiana, which provides housing for low income elderly persons pursuant to section 202 of the national housing act, as amended. On december 27, 2017, the original mortgage was refinanced under section 207 pursuant to section 223(f) of the national housing act, as amended.

Maple city square, inc. Is managed by foundation property management, inc. A professional property management company. Foundation property management, inc. Has a project owner's and management agent's certification for multifamily housing projects with the u.s. Department of housing and urban development. Under this certification, hud has approved foundation property management, inc. To manage the maple city square, inc. Apartment community. The management contract encompasses the day to day operations of the project including, but not limited to, collection of rents, maintenance of facilities, supervision of staff, and ongoing support for both the owners and tenants as needed in order to establish a sanitary and affordable environment. Stuart j. Hartman and peter oscar peabody are compensated by foundation property management, inc. As follows: base compensation of $246,295 and $216,875, other compensation of $5,400 and $5,400, deferred compensation of $20,628 and $6,344, and nontaxable benefits of $28,928 and $20,410, respectively.

The project is waiting on formal written resignation to amend the bylaws, but st. Membership is nontransferable and nonassignable.
