“1. Kentucky climate plan education:focus on educating the public at large, key decision-makers and allies to build more support for climate-related projects throughout the commonwealth. Prepare for a full update/second edition of kcc's key steps guide for distribution. Include information gathered from kcc's climate and biodiversity conference and new data on species decline and water quality, as well as the current status of international climate goals. Continue educational opportunities for locally-based infrastructure programs in cities and towns. Provide education on threats kentucky faces and display projects that are already happening to impact climate change. Emphasize environmental justice and equity issues. Continue to enlist more partner groups who work on climate issues and share materials.”

Kentucky clean and sustainable energy project: focus on educating the public at large, key decision-makers and allies to build more support for clean energy and efficiency throughout the commonwealth. Ky clean energy network support: continue to support the team of pro-solar organizations with their education and strategy work. Engage in education opportunities regarding distributed solar, illustrating best practices and educating the public and agencies on resources to acquire solar, and trends in battery storage development, working with the kentucky solar coalition and others. Increase public education on transportation-related energy issues, now that the transportation sector is the predominant sector for greenhouse gas production, engage in education opportunities and public health impacts relating to dirty energy vs. Clean energy and efficiency alternatives. Share information on job creation opportunities for promoting clean energy and efficiency.”

“Gas pipeline and infrastructure monitoring project: per uscan grant application, provide logistical support and expertise to the coalitions so that all can continue to do effective outreach and public education, all with the goal of building long-term grassroots power. Plan for a 2020 fracking and pipeline conference or similar outreach as decided from the coalition with existing fracking and pipeline allies. Continue to provide content maintenance and updates to the kybeyondfossilfuels.org website and maintain the kybeyondfossilfuels facebook page to include more information about the appalachian storage hub, pipeline protests and similar projects as they develop. Use this forum to gather new allies. Stay current to provide information to the public, and that we can provide continuing support for allied groups and communities in executing their local action plans. Help with education campaigns on the appalachian storage hub and similar infrastructure projects. Develop or assist in developing education materials on citizen's property rights, gas infrastructure, and other impacts as needed.”
