Explanation of other changes in net assets or fund balances Part XI line 9

Line 9 form 990 requires mreporting salaries as if we paid the withheld taxes in the same month. We pay federal and indiana taxes the next month and ohio taxes at the end of each quarter. Since payrolls vary and the first and last month of the fiscal year are not the same, this results in a difference between what is reported and what is actually paid during the fiscal year. Line 9 is the amount of this difference for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.

Balance Sheet Part X

Line 13: a capital fund was established in 2011 for the purpose of acquiring property. It was used for the purchase of a farm and necessary repairs there. It is now targeted toward building a new facility (there were no buildings suitable for holding lessons.)and we are building our capital to have a start on hand when we are ready to undertake a capital campaign. To this end we have invested part of the funds to help grow our starter.
