Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The controlled release society is an international, interdisciplinary, not-for-profit organization whose guiding purpose shall be the advancement of the science and technology of the controlled delivery of chemical and biological substances. Additionally, the objectives of the society are as follows:(a) encourage the exchange of information in the field of controlled delivery through education, research, and the dissemination of information useful to the individual and beneficial to society.(b) foster and enhance communication between all constituencies of the society;(c) conduct an annual business, annual scientific, and other regular meetings to foster peer communication; and,(d) develop public policy positions benefiting members and the public.

Crs is dedicated to advancing the controlled delivery of chemical and biological substances.

Monitoring and enforcement of the conflict of interest policy the controlled release society's conflict of interest policy is reviewed annually by the board of directors. Each director or officer shall annually complete a disclosure form identifying any relationships, positions, or circumstances in which he or she is involved that is believed could contribute to a conflict of interest. The executive director monitors disclosures. In the event a conflict is identified, the executive committee will be notified to review and assess the case and proceed in accordance with the organization's policy. The board of directors has the ultimate authority to make decisions regarding conflicts of interest including recusal from deliberation and voting if a conflict is identified, in accordance with the organization's policy.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Gaap requires entities to evaluate, measure, recognize and disclose any uncertain income tax positions. Gaap prescribes a minimum threshold that a tax position is required to meet in order to be recognized in the financial statements. Crs believes that it had no uncertain tax positions as defined in gaap.
