“Global clearinghouse for development finance has its form 990 prepared by an outside accounting firm and has established the following review process to ensure that the information reported is complete and accurate. After the 990 has been prepared it is reviewed by management. Upon management's approval the 990 is electronically sent to the board members of the organization for any comments. Any comments are then grouped, summarized and provided to the outside accountants. Each issue is documented and addressed until the return is finalized and approved for electronic filing by the tax preparer.”
“The conflict of interest policy is applicable to all employees, board members, and officers. The conflicts are monitored by the executive director of the organization. If any potential or actual conflicts were to arise, the executive director and the executive commitee of the board would review the conflict and the board member, employee or officer may not vote on the issue on which they have a conflict. The resolution is determined on a case by case basis. Annually employees, board members and officers must complete a conflict of interest disclosure statement. In addition, periodic reviews are conducted throughout the year.”
“Globaldf conducted a compensation study in 2013 to review the appropriateness of the compensation of the executive director and key employees. At the 2013 annual meeting of the board, the independent board members of the organization examined the compensation paid to other executive directors at other nonprofit organizations providing similar services, nonprofits with an international focus, compensation surveys compiled by independent firms, and compensation at other small nonprofits in the geographic area. The compensation ceiling of the executive director was compared to the detailed survey data, and deemed to be below market rates and therefore increased. The independent board members documented the process and the basis for the compensation decision in the minutes of the 2013 annual meeting of the board of directors. A comparative study was also done for the following positions: independent contractors and program analysts. The compensation ceiling for both positions was found to be below market rates and was raised accordingly. The independent board members documented the process and the basis for the compensation meeting in the minutes of the 2013 annual meeting of the board of directors. The independent board members determines compensation at its annual meeting or at a special meeting, as the need arises, and documents the process in the board minutes.”

“To reduce poverty and enable access to finance, globaldf has provided financial avisory for the preparation of financially viable infrastructure projects. In 2019, globaldf started a new project supported by the german government developing financial roadmaps for the development and finance of local climate projects in sub-saharan africa. Activities have included implementing a study and developing training modules. Globaldf developed a new methodology for estimating job creation for the new partnership for african development (nepad), the african union's implementing agency for regional infrastructure projects. The job creation methodology will be used to advance africa's regional integration, trade, and large infrastructure projects access to finance. The job creation methodology defines the development impact essential to obtaining technical and financial support as funders can see the importance of nepad's projects and activities on africa's job creation. The approach uses best practices, developing national input-output tables for african countries and the eventual development of an online platform such as that offered by the us national renewable energy laboratory. The german government has provided some financial support for these globaldf activities. In addition, globaldf continued to support the world bank's city and water creditworthiness platforms aimed at increasing the creditworthiness of sub-national entities worldwide, so that finance can be obtained to provide essential services to citizens. The two on-line platforms are aligned with the world bank program to help sub-national entities in developing countries, especially in africa, to reduce poverty and enable access to finance. The names of the two on-line platforms being supported are: the citycredit creditworthiness platform for all sub-national entities (www.citycred.org) and the water creditworthiness platform for water sub- national entities (www.watercred.org).”
“Technical service providers 55,793 0 0 financial advisors 0 280 0 total 55,793 280 0”
“Globaldf recognizes the effect of income tax positions only if those positions are more likely than not of being sustained. Management has determined that globaldf had no uncertain tax positions that would require financial statement recognition or disclosure”
