“In fall of 2022, we produced a new original work. By ensemble member clarity hagan, "the moth and the masked man" at the ky center for the arts for 4 sold our performances. In january of 2023, we launched the ancestors project, funded by an nea challenge america grant, in which we visited 6 communities leading workshops with both artists and non-artists, as we led them in sharing a picture and story of an ancestor, and using that to create a visual, literary, and performance art piece. In march of 2023, we created an original one woman show, "lifecycle of a blackberry: based on the writings of ky poet laureate crystal e. Wilkinson. This new work will premiere in march of 2024. In may of 2023, we began the devising process for a remount of an original one act play by the ensemble entitled "defining infinity" which tells stories from the infinite spectrum of gender identity and sexual expression. This new work will premiere in june of 2024.”

“From september through august, we led over 28 weeks of educational programming, including our after school drama instruction serving 200+ students, 6 weeks of touring productions of our interactive plays on resisting bullying, and 8 weeks of completely free full day instruction in the summer months, in which students created 6 new original plays under our instruction.”
