“In fall of 2019, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our original interactive play about cyberbullying, choices with a new version of the script, new cast, and gala opening. In the months between november and february, this new version reached over 1000 students. In march of 2020, we were prepared to open local playwright erin fitzgerald's good grief: a stage play with music, when covid hit. We have since created a digital version of the play which will premiere in early 2021”

“In march we immediately shifted all our after school drama clubs online. In april and may we worked tirelessly to shift all our other programming to an online format. In june and july lfl teaching artists successfully adapted all summer camps to virtual experiences including devising 2 original virtual performances in which girlspeak and girlspeak jr. Participants reflected on their experiences in 2020. August - november the kentucky suffrage project took to the internet with original content presented weekly including: a virtual launch party, from bardstown to broadway: the road to votes for women -6 online episodes created from the scenes devised for what would have been our world premiere original play. The creation of a suffrage family kit ncluding an original activity and coloring book. Panel conversations with the devising team and local women who are or have been elected officials. November and december - we opened our online store on redbubble, making it possible for supporters to purchase lfl merchandise and began looking to the future by re-starting our strategic planning process.”
