FORTE FINE ARTS MAINTAINS AN AVERAGE STUDENT LOAD OF APPROXIMATELY 100 STUDENTS PER 8 OR 12 WEEK SESSION. THERE ARE TWO 12-WEEK SESSIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR (SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER AND FEBRUARY-MAY) AND ONE 8-WEEK SESSION DURING THE SUMMER.--
FORTE INSTRUCTORS TEACH STUDENTS FROM BIRTH TO ADULT IN AREAS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC, ALL BAND INSTRUMENTS, STRINGS, PERCUSSION, VOICE AND PERCUSSION. PRIVATE AND GROUP LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE AS WELL AS ENSEMBLES, JAZZ BAND AND FULL CONCERT BANK. VISUAL ARTS, PUPPETRY, AND DRAMA CLASSES ARE ALSO COURSE OFFERINGS AT FORTE. Forte fine arts academy is a community-based fine arts school devoted to providing high-quality and accessible education to students of all ages and levels of ability. Our teachers strive to instill a lifelong appreciation of the arts through creative teaching and nurturing learning experiences.

Forte fine arts maintains an average student load of approximately 100 students per 8 or 12 week session. There are two 12-week sessions throughout the year (september-december and february-may) and one 8-week session during the summer.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

Forte instructors teach students from birth to adult in areas of early childhood music, all band instruments, strings, percussion, voice and percussion. Private and group lessons are available as well as ensembles, jazz band and full concert bank. Visual arts, puppetry, and drama classes are also course offerings at forte. Public student performances are held at the close of each of the three yearly sessions and a full musical is performed once a year.

In service to the community: - forte has implemented a six-week visual art residency for public students in grades k-5 in the lakeville public schools. - served/volunteered during lakeville community pan-o-prog celebration. - sponsored the u of m alumni concert bank to perform for the community. - regularly sends students to perform at local nursing homes and assisted living facilities. - provides opportunities for high school graduates and college students to develop music instruction skills by interning during summer sessions. - forte partners with allegro choral academy to provide unique opportunities for high-achieving voice students.
