Mission

The specific purpose of this organization is to educate california (and national) farmers and pesticide applicators on the exact methods for handling herbicide and pesticide containers from use to empty recycling. This will be accomplished through training seminars, lectures and prepared programs. This organization will also educate, encourage and facilitate employees at the county and private landfills and recycling sites to properly inspect and receive containers from farmers and others. This organization will also organize county-wide recycling programs. The planned outcome is increased pesticide container recycling and safer handling of contaminated material with reduced vehicle miles traveled.
