Is a massachusetts non-profit corporation operating for the charitable purpose of conducting activities that facilitate and promote the development and operation of affordable housing, as well as support the residents of such housing and the preservation of deteriorating buildings and neighborhoods.

During prior years, focus owned and maintained a building located at 114 temple street, somerville, ma which provided housing to young who have aged out of foster care. The building had 15 bedrooms and a shared kitchen, dining room, living room and program space. The organization sold the building during the fiscal year ended september 30, 2024 and is now directing its programming to the production of housing through working with non-profit and community-based organizations to produce affordable housing.
