The nomore foundations mission is to connect people to care for the vulnerable. Through educational events and outreach, nomore provides direct opportunities for individuals, businesses, churches and organizations to engage both locally and globally to meet tangible needs and affect change. Volunteers working directly for the nomore foundation assist the organization by giving of their skills to put on events and community outreach opportunities to raise awareness and mobilize people to care for the vulnerable and marginalized in our communities. Volunteers who serve with nomore at local outreaches and on international trips gather and collect donations, distribute donations, visiting the sick and the elderly, serve veterans, cook and serve meals, work on building/remodeling projects that include minor construction, painting, landscaping, installing new items on property, etc. In 2017 the nomore foundation had a total of 452 volunteers who dedicated 2,551 hours, giving of their time, talents and energy to make a difference. Based on the 2017 bureau of labor statistics data, indexed by independent sector data in april 2018, the estimated value for volunteer time was listed at 24.69 per hour, making the total value of their contribution worth 62,984.19.”

“Also lead to economic development by providing business opportunities as well. In 2017, we raised over 20,000 and took 2 teams and over 20 people to haiti to work directly with our ministry partners at the house of blessings orphanage in callebasse, haiti and heart of hope in port au prince, haiti. These teams were able to complete the necessary work to make the aquaponics farm fully functional, allowing it to provide food for both the orphanage and the surrounding community. We also completed other necessary construction projects on the grounds.”

“Nomore hopeless the no more hopeless initiative encompasses a broad range of issues and needs: the lost, the hurting, the sick, the homeless, and the refugee. Through this initiative we are able to address needs that arise in the local and global community and give our support in whatever way is needed. In 2017 our focus was more local as we were able to provide opportunities for people to gather items for local refugee families, do a room makeover for a cancer patient, take care of construction projects and landscaping projects and both provide and deliver christmas gifts to over 100 children for local families in need. The bridge project the bridge project exists to connect the local church to the vulnerable in our communities through education and hands on opportunities to serve the local community. In 2017 the bridge project strategically partnered with 3 churches throughout the year, providing education and mobilization opportunities with each quarter focused on one of the 4 pillars of nomore (nm slavery, nm poverty, nm orphans, nm hopeless). Each quarter saw hundreds mobilized to give, to gather, or to go and serve those in need. In july of 2017, we partnered with 10 churches, coordinating over 10 projects (i.e. Nursing home visits, free car wash, food pantry, foster family support, etc.) and engaging over 200 volunteers to make a difference in the lives of others.”
