Led staff in writing an honor code which outlines rights and responsibilities for scholars based on goals and objectives from their letters to my future self, coached staff in dealing with sensitive topics and issues and to provide relevant support according to the honor code. Planning & developing community initiatives ______________________________________________ successes kenya malkia: provides a safe space for women in prostitution to be equipped, educated, and strengthened as role models that restore hope to their work places. 15 women in sinai, ages 16-26. Coached pauline to design phase ii which connects participants to entrepreneurship training programs, successfully paired malkia participants in hairdressing and catering programs, conducted scholarship intake for 2 malkia participants starting their first year of high school. Eneza: sexual violence prevention program for high school students in kibera. Coached lydia to strengthen the program design to fulfill outcomes, implemented monitor and evaluation systems to collect data from students, hired a curriculum specialist to coach lydia to develop the methodology that will change systems of violence. Advocates chai: a self-care gathering of practitioners working toward ending sexual violence. The purpose of the gathering is to establish a community that practices self-care, networks, and best practices together. Established a bi-monthly gathering of 12 practitioners working in the field of ending sexual violence, organized paid workshops for practitioners to attend to further professional development. Zambia visited zambia in may and november to follow up with fellows, visit outreach programs, lead staff meetings, observe onestep centers that support survivors of sexual violence, and connect with new and existing partners in gender-based violence initiatives, established connections with mnk counseling & wellness centre, women in law in southern africa, unicef, aid”
