Rise up has a team of over 20 volunteers who work weekly with the women at the maury county jail, teaching classes, leading bible studies and church services, and doing one-on-one mentoring. This activity further enhances the exempt purpose and local community impact of timothy's gift. While the legal name of the organization remains timothy's gift, inc., at the time of the combination of entities, an application was filed with the tn secretary of state requesting the assumed name of "rise up, tennessee" in which the organization will operate.”
