Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4A

Of wellness workshops. In addition, crown point served as a venue for many spirituality-based programs such as zen and insight meditation, mindful living workshops, and yoga classes. Farm and farm products crown point farmed 10 acres for organic vegetable production. Over 5,000 lbs. Of produce were donated to the akron canton regional food bank and thousands of vegetable seedlings and plants were donated to community gardens. The center hosted and trained five farm interns during the growing season. Outreach the center is open to the public dawn-to-dusk for visitors to walk the trails and relax on the property. We have several outdoor intentional landscapes designed for spiritual observation and contemplation including a labyrinth, meditation wheel and woodlands. Sustainable land use operating an organic csa growing vegetables on 10 acres of land; donating 5,000 lbs of organic produce to the akron-canton regional foodbank and other hunger-abatement programs; selling organic plants to the public in the annual plant sale which enables home gardeners to access dozens of varieties of heirloom vegetable plants; donating 5,000 plants to community gardens, harvest for hunger plots and school gardens; providing an intensive 30-week organic farm apprenticeship program for 5 individuals to teach the skills necessary for managing an organic farm.

Crown point's endowment consists of funds which are restricted as to use in perpetuity. The income from these funds is to be used for their donor- restricted purposes including operations and the children's gardens/programs.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

Crown point is a publicly supported nonprofit organization that is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Crown point believes that it has appropriate support for any tax positions taken, and as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the financial statements. Crown point's returns will be subject to examination by the irs, generally for three years after they were filed.
