Mission and Program Overview

Mission

St. Luke's support corporation (the organization") is organized and operated as a supporting organization as described in section 509(a)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, or any corresponding provision of any future united states internal revenue law (the "code"). The organization is organized and operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of, st. Luke's chamber ensemble, inc. ("st. Luke's"), an organization that is exempt from taxation under section 501(c)(3) and classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(2) of the code.

The organization will support the missions and programs of st. Luke's through fundraising and management of funds (together with all investment earnings thereon). The organization will participate in fund raising efforts to support or benefit st. Lukes' activities (primarily, development of the project), and will receive, hold, manage, and invest funds on behalf of st. Luke's and will distribute funds (and the income thereon) to st. Luke's.
