Early risers undergraduate and graduate scholarships, post graduation stipends, and financial assistance for qualified students and post graduates transitioning to employment selected students received thousands of dollars in scholarship for academic and leadership success. Considerable grants and scholarships awarded to several qualified candidates nearing 100,000 in total awards. 2. Beauty pageant sponsored and conducted local beauty pageant for area youth with hundreds of dollars with of prizes and scholarship awarded. The foundation continued sponsorship and support of students and young women seeking exposure through pageants. Several thousands went in support of: -miss louisiana usa 3rd runner up -miss crescent city usa winner -several other promising young women of color using pageantry as an opportunity to develop leadership and gain exposure. 3. Sponsorship of several selected college students demonstrating financial hardship during academic year early risers continues to do this on a consistent basis as the foundational cornerstone of our 501c3 organization. We have successfully assisted several students not only with tuition, books, and materials but computers, living expenses, and assistance through financial hardships. 4. Sponsorship and mentoring of minority owned businesses within the community we continue to support the efforts of minority owned businesses in the area awarding several small business assistance grants to help through the start up phase pf qualified owner applicants. 5. Several philanthropic grants to qualified individuals and small businesses needing financial assistance early risers will expand its focus in the future on the development of small minority businesses within the area. Our goal is to fund start ups, increase awareness of the sba and the opportunities that exists for small minority businesses. We will also sponsor the implementation of the minority business accelerator program in an effort to offer education and training to minority small business owners on business structure and financing.”

SEVERAL THOUSANDS WENT IN SUPPORT OF: -MISS LOUISIANA USA 3RD RUNNER UP -MISS CRESCENT CITY USA WINNER -SEVERAL OTHER PROMISING YOUNG WOMEN OF COLOR USING PAGEANTRY AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP LEADERSHIP AND GAIN EXPOSURE. 3. SPONSORSHIP OF SEVERAL SELECTED COLLEGE STUDENTS DEMONSTRATING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP DURING ACADEMIC YEAR EARLY RISERS CONTINUES TO DO THIS ON A CONSISTENT BASIS AS THE FOUNDATIONAL CORNERSTONE OF OUR 501C3 ORGANIZATION. WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY ASSISTED SEVERAL STUDENTS NOT ONLY WITH TUITION, BOOKS, AND MATERIALS BUT COMPUTERS, LIVING EXPENSES, AND ASSISTANCE THROUGH FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS. 4. SPONSORSHIP AND MENTORING OF MINORITY OWNED BUSINESSES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY WE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF MINORITY OWNED BUSINESSES IN THE AREA AWARDING SEVERAL SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE GRANTS TO HELP THROUGH THE START UP PHASE PF QUALIFIED OWNER APPLICANTS. 5. SEVERAL PHILANTHROPIC GRANTS TO QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL BUSINESSES NEEDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE EARLY RISERS WILL EXPAND ITS FOCUS IN THE FUTURE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL MINORITY BUSINESSES WITHIN THE AREA. OUR GOAL IS TO FUND START UPS, INCREASE AWARENESS OF THE SBA AND THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT EXISTS FOR SMALL MINORITY BUSINESSES. WE WILL ALSO SPONSOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MINORITY BUSINESS ACCELERATOR PROGRAM IN AN EFFORT TO OFFER EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO MINORITY SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS ON BUSINESS STRUCTURE AND FINANCING. |
