Form 990, Page 1, Part I, Line 6

Volunteers consist of a board of directors of 12 members and approximately a thousand part-time volunteers used to organize and run fundraising functions and trips to memorials. The trip has been cancelled the last few years due to covid-19, so the number of volunteers needed has been around three hundred, but they have access to approximately a thousand volunteers during a normal year that would have the large scale trip.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

The organization has been determined by the internal revenue service to be exempt from federal income tax under internal revenue code section 501(c) (3) as other than a private foundation and, therefore, there is no provision for income tax in the financial statements. Management has considered uncertain tax positions, and determined there are no uncertain tax positions as of december 31, 2021. Tax returns for the past three tax years remain open for examination by federal tax jurisdictions and tax returns for the past four years remain open for examination by wisconsin tax jurisdictions. As of december 31, 2021 there were no ongoing examinations.
