MEDICAL STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS ROTATE ON THE INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENCY'S CARDIOLOGY SERVICE STAFFED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S PHYSICIANS. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE ACGME-ACCREDITED FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMS IN CARDIOVASCULAR MEDICINE, ADVANCE HEART FAILURE AND CARDIAC TRANSPLANT, ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY, INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY, AND CARDIOVASCULAR OUTCOMES. FELLOWSHIPS IN PREVENTIVE CARDIOLOGY AND CARDIOVASCULAR IMAGING ARE ALSO OFFERED. THE PROGRAM DIRECTORS FOR ALL OF THESE CARDIOVASCULAR FELLOWSHIPS ARE THE ORGANIZATION'S PHYSICIANS.THE ORGANIZATION IS ALSO DEDICATED TO CLINICAL RESEARCH. ITS PHYSICIANS ARE LEADING RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT ARE SHAPING THE FUTURE OF CARDIOLOGY BY HELPING DEFINE THE PRACTICE OF CARDIOLOGY TODAY, AND GUIDING HOW IT WILL BE PRACTICED IN THE FUTURE.
