Form 990, Part III, Line 2: New Services

In partnership with churches in east collin county, the seven loaves food pantry extended services to this area. The north texas food bank provides sufficient food to support this effort and the group reimburses seven loaves for any costs incurred.

Financial Statement Notes

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

The Organization is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Code and has not been classified as a private foundation as defined in the Code. Income generated from activities unrelated to the Organizations exempt purposes is subject to tax under Code Section 511. The Organization had no unrelated business income for the years ended December 31, 2016. Accordingly, no provision has been made for federal income tax.GAAP requires the evaluation of tax positions taken in the course of preparing the Organizations tax returns and recognition of a tax liability (or asset) if the Organization has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would not be sustained upon examination by the Internal Revenue Service. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the Organization, and has concluded that as of December 31, 2016, there are no uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements.

Personal growth plans are established and coaches are assigned to help each participant reach her goals. Accountability checks are provided to ensure that every effort is being made on the part of the participant, the coaches and the program to relieve the immediate crisis as well as to support the future.
