To create and support science-based programs to reduce the incidence of miscarriages, pre-term births and children's chronic disorders. The Forum promotes the prevention and non-medical treatment of disabilities such as autism, ADD, ADHD and other disorders with neurological components.
| Description | Grants | Expenses |
|---|---|---|
| In calendar year 2013, The Forum focused its efforts to establishing the P2i (Preconception to Infancy) Program. Working with the 80,000 member Nevada Business Group on Health (NBGH) to establish a population for participation in the program and to incentivize their employee participation, we are also identifying the non-medical protocol to be utilized, establishing the Internal Review Board to oversee the project, CME classes to train physicians on protocols, establishing an interactive website with a workbook for prospective parents that will gather data for publication and research purposes.Existing scientific evidence indicates that by identifying the toxic body burden of prospective mothers, then eating and drinking toxic free nutrition, including pure supplements, the toxic burden can be reduced and healthy children result. We now have the ability with non-invasive methods to measure that toxic burden with Mass Spectrometer Machines and have met with labs to calibrate them for measurement of 950+ metals and persistent organic pesticides. Additionally, the added benefit is that miscarriages and preterm births are substantially lessened. Finally, there are additional indeterminate social savings in emotional trauma as well as healthcare cost savings due to a lifetime of good health. This is not new information, but the medical community generally has not recognized and accepted the science. The population trial being established in Reno will provide the efficacy of the science and be a game changer not only in the U.S. but worldwide. Recently the CDC attempted to perform a population trial and devoted several million dollars to its implementation. Unfortunately they were not able to acquire a large enough population to provide a successful research project. Our efforts working with the NBGH, a self-insured group of public entities and private businesses provides a population large enough for a research project as well as having existing data to compare research results. The Forum has utilized private funds for all of its efforts to date, and is now establishing a fundraising committee to begin active efforts to raise the necessary funds for implementation of the P2i Program. The Forum has gathered research professionals, medical professionals, business professionals and other key professionals to implement this program (as reported in our 2012 990 Supplemental Information). This will be a minimum 5-year program, but once implemented the results can be accessed by potential families worldwide through the interactive website. | $37,165 | - |
