“Organization's exempt purpose:to develop tomorrow's global leaders through educational programs geared toward middle and high school students designed to bring understanding and engagement with international issues.achievements this past year, continued:a panel of judges. The challenge includes team building, mentoring by individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. Following the competition, students are connected to a network of universities and organizations where they can continue their development into global thinkers, doers and leaders. Accomplishments for 2014:in 2014, the center developed and implemented enhanced board member processes and procedures,created a new branding, brochures and theme for the world affairs challenge (wac). Team participation grew by more than 50% over 2013, leveraged posner center relationships to introduce students to key ngos as part of wac and solidified regis university support.the center added and registered dba world affairs challenge to its name in the colorado secretary of state's office.the center established a new mission statement, developing tomorrow's global leaders and market image accentuating the world affairs challenge with a focus toward the children.additional non-cash donations in 2014: $640 printing programs for the world affairs challenge. And $800 in swag gifts for students attending the world affairs challenge.additional cash donations received in 2014: the boeing company $2,950, melinda cain $1,875,denver southeast rotary $2,500, el pomar $2,500 and denver rotary $2,000.”
