All board members review and sign the conflict of interest policy at the annual meeting (held each november). If there are any potential conflicts of interest that arise throughout the year, they are discussed at board meeting per our policy. All final decisions are noted in the board meeting minutes. Also, related party letters are required to be completed annually as a part of our agency wide audit. Confirmations are sent to each board member by our audit firm.

Leap food access programing a. In 2018, the leap mobile market had 11 weekly stops in low income, low access neighborhoods and had over 3,450 transactions with 51% of sales coming for healthy food incentives. B.west end farmers markets and grandin village farmers market served an estimated 12,000 people at the combined 82 market days with market sales totaling over 200,000. C.leap ran five healthy food incentive programs at grandin village, west end, and mobile market in 2018 (snap double value, medicaid double value, head start family vouchers, senior incentive program vouchers, fresh foods rx) for a total value of 33,185. 96% of participants stated they increased their fruit and vegetable consumption because of the program. D.leap provided snap matching funds for 9 partner markets in the blue ridge region including city of salem farmers market, vinton farmers market, historic roanoke city market, blacksburg farmers market, floyd farmers market, lynchburg community market, and bedford farmers market, for a total of 28,955 over 1,926 transactions in 2018.
