Moderating of Special Interest Cluster groups for discussion and action on issues of importance to underserved communities such as the Eau Claire and surrounding areas (ZIP Code is 29203). Eau Claire Promise Zone tries to bring together professionals who have experience in a wide array of educational, health, safety, and anti-poverty initiatives so that we can use their skill to assist underserved children and families. The purpose of each of these Facebook groups is to spur lively discussion and action to improve the lives and well-being of underserved children and families in the Eau Claire part of Columbia SC. A secondary goal is to draw local, statewide, and even national attention to the challenges faced by the residents of 29203 and people like them in similar communities across America.
