“Description of Exempt Purpose:Learning Dynamics, Inc. provides psychological, educational, and social services to individuals and families of all ages. Our robust sliding scale affords discounts to working class families that would often over-qualify for services at other agencies. Our nonprofit is making a difference in our community by providing high-quality, culturally-harmonious services that are hard to find, at rates an average of 40-70% less than other local resources. Line 28Part III: Statement of Program Services and Accomplishments Learning Dynamics unique resources help people of all ages identify and treat mental and educational difficulties that impact their ability to thrive. Designed to reduce distress and improve the well-being of those we serve, examples of our services include: Comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational testing for all ages. Our customized assessments provide identification of strengths, weaknesses, learning disabilities, mental diagnoses, and recommendations to support performance improvement at home, school, and work. Line 29Our Brain Bootcamp is a therapeutic program for ages 4 through adults; designed to enhance performance in academic (school) and occupational (work) environments to achieve a global sense of wellbeing.Butterfly Bootcamp and College Connections are behavior service programs for people ages 4-30 with high-functioning Autism Spectrum, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity, and/or learning disorders. Individual and small group interventions are used to help people gain skills needed for successful participation in school, career, and community. Line 30We offer trainings to masters and doctoral-level students and licensed helping professionals, to increase their ability to provide effective psychological and educational interventions to culturally diverse populations. Helping the ones that help others, expands our agency's impact in the community.The breadth and depth of affordable services provided by Learning Dynamics are dependent on the support the agency receives from volunteer mental health and educational specialists. In 2013, the talent and time volunteered by these specialists was estimated to be 9050 hours. Their generosity resulted in over 120 children, young adults, and families receiving more than 930 hours of psychological and educational services.
